Our board consists of experienced Trustees who each bring a wealth of knowledge to their work. This includes direct, personal experience of mental health issues. 

Our Chair is a Liverpudlian born and bred semi-retired NHS Manager who began his career as a psychiatric nurse and currently undertakes work commissioning mental health provision for several health authorities. He drives the strategic direction of KCC and supports and challenges individual staff members to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the board’s priorities.

The Company Secretary is a recently retired Head Teacher and Parish Priest with more than 40 years experience of pastoral work, much of it in a deprived inner-city context. He is responsible for compliance at KCC.

Our remaining Trustees support KCC with knowledge and expertise. Meeting monthly to receive detailed verbal feedback and written reports in addition to reviewing and approving the accounts.
